In Sighetu Marmației, a tale of dramatic reality.
In the eyes of children you always find happiness in front of a soft toy. While those of older children, of teenagers, appear melancholic, and seem to pour onto those soft toys the sadness and fear of a journey into the unknown. Halfway across the bridge, a faded stripe tells you that you are in Ukraine, below which the waters of the Tisza flow calmly and draw the long border line between a country at peace and one at war, between a free country and an occupied one, between Europe, NATO and those who would like to be part of it. At the end of the bridge the Yellow Blue sign and the Cyrillic writing warn you that you are in the country at the centre of the conflict.
