Stand for Europe: a Seminar for Europe

Stand for Europe

After 18 months severely affected by the covid crisis, the Young Democrats for Europe, with the support of the European Democratic Party (EDP) have decided to gather and discuss proposals for the future of Europe in Paris.

Fully engaged in the Conference for the Future of Europe, these 3 days event aimed at discussing proposals that would contribute to the YDE platform for the COFOE. Together with the Jeunes démocrates, our members from all of our organisations in Europe and our partners of the Renew Europe youth organisations, we were 60 participants gathered to work for our Future.

Organised through sessions for YDE members and our partners, this weekend allowed us to discuss about the future of our organisations as well as contributing to the COFOE with more that 40 proposals and 20 priorities that we voted for during the plenary.

Speakers from 6 Renew Europe (Jeunes Démocrates, Jeunes avec Macron, Jeunes Radicaux, Jeunes UDI, LYMEC et YDE) organisations helped to make this event a major event for our political family. On top of that, 3 speakers from our political family, Marie-Pierre Vedrenne, French MEP and co-chair of the Renaissance delegation, Maud Gatel, French MP and Fréderic Petit, French MP and Deputy Secretary-general of the EDP gave us keynote speech about democracy and their view on the Conference of Europe.
