Marielle de Sarnez, Secretary General of the European Democratic Party, died on Wednesday 13th January 2021. Our political family is in mourning.
Francesco Rutelli, founder with Francois Bayrou of the European Democratic Party, mourns the death of Marielle de Sarnez: We remember Marielle de Sarnez as a rare, precious, energetic European democrat. It is a painful and premature death. She will be missed by the MoDem, the EDP, the French National Assembly and all of us. Our community loses a tireless promoter, always looking for new pro-democratic and pro-European challenges.
